How to Measure a Commercial Refrigerator, Cooler, or Freezer Door Gasket
Measuring your refrigerator door gaskets is easy. In order to identify the correct size simply grab a measuring tape and measure the gasket in one of the following ways:
1) Outside-to-Outside: Simply measure from the outside edge of the gasket. The most common method of measuring.

2) Magnet-to-Magnet: measure from the outside edge of the magnet inside the gasket (only applicable for certain gaskets)

3) Dart-to-Dart: measure from where the dart of the magnet goes into the track (only applicable if gasket has been removed)
